A Wolf in the Wind is a creative media project, founded by Sal Lopez, that is built around intentional storytelling through music, visuals, and long-form ideas. It serves as a home for artist projects and narrative worlds that are developed with care, clarity of voice, and attention to meaning. Each project within AWITW is treated as its own complete expression, shaped through lyrics, sound, imagery, and structure rather than isolated moments. The focus is on building work that holds together as a whole and can be understood more deeply over time as each project unfolds.

LUCID follows Cairo Herrera, a seventeen-year-old who begins experiencing vivid lucid dreams that feel more real than waking life. What starts as curiosity quickly becomes obsession as his dreams respond to his thoughts, emotions, and grief in unsettling ways. As Cairo learns to navigate and control these dream states, the boundary between dreaming and reality begins to erode. Subtle changes ripple into his waking world, forcing him to question whether consciousness itself is far more malleable, and monitored, than he was ever meant to realize. Blending psychological suspense, speculative science fiction, and emotional introspection, LUCID explores lucid dreaming, consciousness, loss, and the cost of awakening in a world that may not want to be understood.LUCID is currently in development, with writing and world-building actively underway.
The novel is scheduled for release later this year (TBD) and will be accompanied by an original soundtrack by AWITW, designed to mirror the emotional and psychological layers of the story.
